The inherited path. This animal's life is shaped less by what it does than by where it came from and who found it - bloodline, breed instincts, the litter, the first few months, the luck of the home it landed in. Breed-typical traits and inherited health tendencies run strong here, so know the line and screen for what it carries. Emotionally it is the barometer of the household: it reads tension, arrivals, packed suitcases and raised voices, and it settles or unsettles with the mood of the home. A pet reaches both at Bond Level 3, one rung later than a person, because its first two rungs go on species and breed and then on birth year. Nothing else arrives with it: there are no Karma Credits, no Vessel Stats and no Difficulty reading on a pet ladder at any rung.
