What the Property Palace describes

Homes, land, and the physical setting a life is actually conducted in. This is the most literal of the twelve and regularly the most underrated, because where somebody lives quietly decides a great deal about who they get to be. The palace covers acquisition — whether property is inherited, built, or permanently just out of reach — and it covers something less obvious, which is whether a place restores the person inside it. A strong reading tends to show as a base: somewhere that holds, that gets improved rather than replaced, that other people end up gravitating towards. A difficult one shows as motion without settlement, a run of addresses none of which took, or a house that is an asset and never a refuge. The second half of that reading matters more than the first, and it is the half most readers skip.
